Camp Half-Blood, the popular South Mountain Reservation camp based off Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series, is offering free, daily content on its website in light of social distancing. Starting this week, the camp will offer hour-long programs ranging from story time to crafts and even Mythomagic (its version of Dungeons & Dragons).

Camp Half-Blood’s goal is to stimulate your young demigods with a different story, game or activity during either their lunch hour or after they’ve completed their school work. Each week, the live stream schedule will be updated at the bottom of this page. You can also find staff reading recommendations—today’s comes from Alex, who recommends Dragon Pearl by Yoon Ha Lee. They also offer resources like Mythomagic character cards.

This week’s lineup includes the following content:

  • Monday, March 23 from noon-1 pm: Story time
  • Tuesday, March 24 from 3-4 pm: Mythomagic
  • Wednesday, March 25 from noon-1 pm: Craft project
  • Thursday, March 26 from 3-4 pm: Mythomagic
  • Friday, March 27 from noon-1 pm: Art project

For more information on the camp’s programming, visit the website. If your kids can’t get enough of Percy Jackson, they can check out the camp’s Demigod Manual.
