To help ease being stuck at home during this coronavirus quarantine and self-isolation period, Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf from Frozen, is going live on Twitter every night at 7:30 pm to tell you and the kids some bedtime stories, and frankly, that’s exactly what we need right now. The charming actor is bringing his signature style to new and old books and might even distract your kids for a few minutes while you’re cleaning up dinner or getting some work done. Gad joins other artists and celebrities (like Mo Willems) who are finding unique ways to little minds engaged and entertained during this unprecedented period.Â
Last night’s title was the Dr. Seuss book Hooray for Diffendoofer Day.Â

He also read The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, which you can pull up for the kids to watch now.

And if you have Disney+, you can also see Gad as Olaf in Frozen and Frozen 2 (which Disney released on the streaming service early to help keep the kids entertained during self-isolation) or the live action version of Beauty and the Beast as Gaston’s sidekick LeFou. Make sure you’ve got some tissues handy for Frozen 2! That movie even melted the heart of one of our teenagers.
If you are looking for more ways to entertain your kids at home, there are educational ideas, online music classes and more.
