Try Free Music Classes from Rockness Music While the Kids Are Stuck at Home

Grab your guitars! The music instruction program is offering online lessons during the coronavirus quarantine.

Rockness Music

Do you have any aspiring musicians at home? If so, they’re in luck. Rockness Music, a private and public music instruction program for children, is offering free online classes for kids looking for something to do while they’re stuck in the house due to coronavirus closings.

Kids ages 10 and under can explore everything from drumming to STEAM to dramatic play through these international online broadcasts that’ll be streamed live throughout the month. They’ll also learn about instruments, get moving and bop along to live music. Rockness Music’s goal is to inspire knowledge and growth through music, and teach the kids life skills, confidence and positivity.

The shows will feature live performances of original music by the Rockness Music’s house band, Michael & the Rockness Monsters. The band has four full-length albums and has toured nationally, including at Lincoln Center and Symphony Space in New York City.

The 30-minute live shows will be broadcasted on the music school’s Facebook page. Shows are daily on weekdays from March 17-20 and 23-27 at both 10 am and 3 pm. These are free music classes, but tips and donations are encouraged for the performers. Get to rockin’, people!
