
It’s outdoor festival season and we’re here for it. Here are the best fairs and festivals in New Jersey in June:
June 1
Michael Arnone’s Crawfish Fest
Sussex County Fairgrounds, Augusta
The festival started as a small crawfish boil for 70 people and has turned into a mega New Orleans-inspired event featuring Creole and Cajun, Zydeco, Delta Blues, New Orleans R&B, Brass, Gospel and Jazz music.
L.E.A.D. Fest Carnival
Church of the Holy Eucharist, Tabernacle
L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs & Violence) is a nationwide nonprofit that helps students understand the dangers of drugs and violence. As part of the org’s community outreach, the carnival will include rides, entertainment, a midway and fair food.
Strawberry Festival
Terhune Orchards, Princeton
Everything will be strawberry-based this weekend: a strawberry buffet, fruit-based wine and children’s craft activities. More fun for kids includes tractors and playhouses, barnyard animals, the hippity hop corral, rubber duckie race, hopscotch, apple basket bean bag toss, pony rides and a scavenger hunt. NJ Bubble Parties will have two shows each day. Local artists will play mini concerts during the afternoon.
Jersey Pride 2025
Asbury Park
The largest and oldest LGBTQ Pride Celebration in the Garden State includes a rally, parade and festival.
Under Cover Music Fest
Sloan Street lot, South Orange
Eight cover bands will perform all day, in addition to vendors, drinks in the South Orange Downtown Beer Garden, and the Y-Zone for kids.
West Windsor Arts ArtWalk Fundraiser
West Windsor Arts, Princeton Jct. (West Windsor)
The yearly fundraiser has a summer vibe theme with a focus on wellness. It starts with a one-mile Family Fun Walk and a scavenger hunt. Back at the arts center will be live music, fitness challenges, meditation, massage therapy, henna, painting kindness rocks, decorating sneaker keychains, contributing to a collaborative graffiti mural, blood pressure screenings, and a silent auction.

Feria de Sevilla

Based on the weeklong celebration of Spanish culture that comes from Seville, NJ’s version includes spontaneous dancing throughout the park, Flamenco performances, paella and sangria, shopping for traditional Spanish items, workshops on how to play the castanets or the cajon, arts and crafts activities, tarot card readings and face painting.

The parade takes place on June 5, while Community Night is June 6, followed by a possible Drag Queen Story Hour on June 7 (TBD). The “celebration of joy” features artists, musicians, drag performers, local talent and community advocacy.
Trenton Pride 2025
Trenton
The weekend party kicks off on Thursday with Pride Happy Hour at Cooper’s Riverview, followed by Trenton Thunder Pride Night at the Trenton Thunder baseball game. On Friday, a flag raising at City Hall is followed by a casual mixer at Tracey’s Kitchen. A highlight of Saturday’s activities is the solidarity march at the State Capitol building, followed by the Trenton Pride Festival in Mill Hill Park with music, entertainment, dance, drag queens, local artists, vendors, family activities, and food and drinks.

Metuchen’s 125th Birthday Celebration

There will be a townwide celebration including activities, specials and historical moments.
Pride on the Plaza

This all-ages community disco dance party has live music by The Einstein Alley Disco Funk Machine. Drag artist Divinity Banks will teach you how to do the Hustle and other iconic dances. Inside the library in the Community Room, there will be space to connect with others.

Lebanese Festival
St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, Somerset
Experience authentic Middle Eastern food, music, dance and culture. Traditional Lebanese foods such as falafel, shawarma (gyro), hummus, spinach pies, tabouhli, stuffed grape leaves and pastries will be sold. There will be live music featuring a different singer each day, plus dancing and folkloric performances. There will also be raffles, prizes, souvenirs and games of chance.

Drag Queen Jenny Henny as Taylor Swift highlights the day, along with pop artist Brianna Musco, No Strings A Capella and Cate Fruscione. There will be a DJ, guest speakers, info booths, vendors and a family area. The theme of the day is “United We Stand.”

The Bridge Christian Radio puts on its 20th annual concert series, with this year’s theme of “God Still Speaks.” The Friday night concert features CAIN. On Saturday, there will be activities and games for all ages, a youth rally for teens, a food vendors, beach baptisms in the Atlantic Ocean, fellowship along the boardwalk, and a prayer tent.

Rocks, Ribs & Ridges Festival
Sussex County Fairgrounds, Augusta
Southern and classic rock music bands include George Thorogood and The Destroyers, Orleans, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Grand Funk Railroad and Artimus Pyle. Finger-licking barbecue options come from Smokin’ Mo’s Southern BBQ in Sandyston, plus other BBQ joints from the U.S. and Canada.

L.E.A.D. Fest State Fair
Mercer County Park, West Windsor
Along with activities such as Robinson’s Racing Pigs, Cowtown USA, a dock dogs competition, a weekend craft/business fair, and fairway rides provided by Reithoffer Shows, the L.E.A.D. Fest State Fair has a nightly entertainment schedule. This is held by members of L.E.A.D., who are law enforcement officers who promote fun activities vs. substance abuse.

“The Planet’s Biggest Beach Party” lights up the shoreline, complete with food vendors, crafters, live music, cornhole, wiffle ball, pickleball, volleyball, surf and kite lessons, sand sculpting, environmental exhibits, kids’ activities, a twilight bonfire, the screening of “Moana 2” at twilight.
Pop’s Farm Market Food Truck Festival
Linwood Fields at Pop’s Farm Market & Garden Center, Monroe Twp.
There will be 10 gourmet food trucks, a bounce house, lawn games, hayrides, a kids’ inflatable area, a picnic grove, live music, face painting, craft vendors, a beer garden with beer from Old Hights Brewing Company, and a wine tasting with wine from Balic Wine.
Wings & Things Arts & Crafts Festival
Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum, Cape May
The one-day festival includes kid’s crafts, carving workshops, craft vendors, a beer and wine garden, live music and food trucks. But while you’re there, check out the museum’s 26 aircraft on display, plus the Hot Rods at the Hangar car show, and The Longest Yarn 3D wool exhibit.
Spirit of Monmouth Festival
Main Street, Downtown Freehold Borough
Freehold Borough is dubbed the place “where freedom stood,” since it was an integral part of Revolutionary War times. This celebration of the Battle of Monmouth will include vendors, food trucks, historical exhibits; and live music by British Invasion Years, Saw Mill Run and WCT Band.

Garden State Comic Fest
Codey Arena, West Orange
This will be the ultimate world of comics: artists, comic books, anime, toys, collectibles, media guests, and cosplay.
June 29
Firefly Festival
Terhune Orchards, Princeton
While you wait for the fireflies to light up at night, make your own wings and antenna, listen to live music, ride a pony, play in the barnyard area, watch Lolly Hopwood perform and grab some goodies from Pam’s Firefly Tent.
