The annual West Orange Street Fair is one of the biggest events of the year in West Orange.
The festival features local crafters, food from local vendors, street performers, a classic car show (10 am to 4 pm), live music, crafts, a beer and wine garden, a bungee trampoline, free all-day admission to the Thomas Edison Museum, and more.
Proceeds from the Classic Car Show will benefit the Friends of Thomas Edison National Historical Park to further preserve Edison’s legacy.
Stroll along Main Street and grab eats like Greek, Mexican, BBQ, soft-serve ice cream and gourmet ice pops from Benji’s Taqueria Mexican Grill, Afro Taco/Oko Fine Cuisine, Puras Paletas, Tunkas Bolivian Empanadas, How Delish Vegan specialties, and Orange Sky Coffee.
Kids will be greeted by their favorite costumed characters, including a live puppet T-Rex, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Disney Princesses, Minions, and more.
Free parking will be available in the lots located at 80 and 286 Main Street (Washington School), just a short walk to and from the activities. For those who need assistance, there will be golf cart shuttles available to transport patrons to and from 80 Main Street. Individuals with handicap parking permits may park on lakeside after 11 am.
