Have a girl who loves all things STEM? To celebrate women in science, technology, engineering and math, the Intrepid Museum in New York City will host its 10th Annual Girls in Science and Engineering Day and it’s free to attend.
The day will include hands-on experiences, demos and discussions led by experts from the Intrepid Museum, NASA Goddard, Cooper Union, the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees and Hudson River Park. You’ll also get to explore the museum during your visit.
The event is open to everyone, from kids and teens to parents and school groups.
Girls in Science and Engineering Day will take place from 11 am to 3 pm Saturday, March 9, at The Intrepid Museum, Pier 86 at West 46th St., New York, NY. The event is free but you must register in advance.
