Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom may have a low-key amusement park feel on a summer day, but come autumn nights the park will transform into a Halloween Haunt.

The park’s annual fright night event, Halloween Haunt, includes seven haunted mazes: The Ghost in the Machine (an abandoned steel factory), Tourist Trap (World’s Fair hotel), Blood on the Bayou (the French Quarter), Trick or Treat (witches’ creekside house), Blackout (a dark, eerie shadow world), Necropolis (undead spirits living beneath Dorney Park), and Roadside Stop and Chop (roadside jam shop).

The scare zones featured this year are CarnEVIL (carnival mayhem with freak show characters and wicked clowns), Dystopia (a post-apocalypic world), Port of Call (on a pirate ship), Midway Misfits (shape-shifting fiends hang out on the midway), and Steel Yard: Forge Your Fear (where you’ll be tormented by Iron Menace spirits).

You’ll still be able to get on more than 60 rides, including a special night ride of the Iron Menace dive coaster.
There will be live entertainment including musical stage shows, and food and drinks themed for the season.

Costumes are prohibited, and anyone 13 and under needs to be with an adult age 18 or older – though the attractions aren’t recommended for kids under 13.

Younger ones can attend the family-friendly Tricks and Treats on the same weekends, but during daylight hours. Kids are encouraged to dress up for trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, and fun photo ops.

Halloween Haunt will be held on Fridays and Saturdays from September 12 through November 2, with additional Sunday events on October 12, 19 and 26, and November 2. Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is located at 3830 Dorney Park Rd. in Allentown, PA. Daily tickets start at $40. Access to haunted mazes will require a separate Haunted Attractions Pass, available for purchase for $15 online and at Dorney Park.
