One of Europe’s most famous circus families is bringing its show to the U.S., debuting in New Jersey next month.

Cirque de Paris, presented by Anouchka Bouglione, includes a cast of circus artists from across the continent, including BMX trick riders, illusionists, aerialists, acrobats and clowns that follow French performance traditions.

Bouglione, part of the seventh generation of France’s circus family, is a hula hoop artist, spinning up to 25 rings at a time. Her husband, Reinaldo Monteiro, is known for his laser performance, while their son Noah “paints” the stage with light and sound.

Watch as Ukrainian-born Kostiantyn Tsymbal pops front wheel hops on his BMX bike; acrobats Brandon & Jacqueline fly high above the crowd; gold medalist Flashback Magic performs large-scale illusions; and Pedro. Jr. shows off his new clown character.

Cirque de Paris shows are August 21-31 at MarketFair in Princeton; September 4-14 at Rockaway Townsquare, 301 Mt. Hope Rd., Rockaway; and then September 18-28 at the Menlo Park Mall in Edison. Each show is 90 minutes long.
