Disney on Ice is a perennial favorite for families, and the newest show is adding performances by some never-seen-before movie characters.
When the ice skating performance returns to New Jersey this fall, more than 50 Disney stars will skate around to movie music, with new characters from Moana 2 and Inside Out 2 making their debut during Disney on Ice Presents Jump In! Other fan faves include stars from Frozen, Encanto, Toy Story and Zootopia – plus all the classics like Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy; and princesses Ariel, Jasmine, Rapunzel and Tiana!
The storyline starts with the Magical Mouse Pad; continues on to the “Hoedown Throwdown” with Toy Story’s Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear; and then kids’ participation to help Officer Judy Hopps track down Nick Wilde as he hides in the world of Zootopia.
Expect aerial acrobatics, special effects, and Disney music, of course.
Disney on Ice will come to Prudential Center in Newark at 7 pm Wednesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 30; 11 am Friday, October 31; and 11 am, 3 pm and 7 pm Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2.
Then, the show will be held at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, 2301 Boardwalk, Atlantic City. Showtimes are 7 pm Friday, November 7; 12 pm and 4 pm Saturday, November 8; and 12 pm and 4 pm Sunday, November 9. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com or in-person at the venue box office.
You can add on the “Follow The Stars with Moana” Character Experience, which puts kids inside the world of Moana 2 before the main show starts. Moana will share stories with kids before Mickey Mouse stops by for photos. Anyone over age 2 must have both a Character Experience ticket and a Disney On Ice show ticket to attend; and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
