If your kids loved Cirque du Soleil, or you’ve always wanted to go but never got the chance, there’s a new Euro-inspired performance that will definitely give you your fix.

Cirque Italia’s Water Circus is touring Elizabeth from August 17-27 and Rockaway from August 31-September 4. This European entertainment group puts on a spectacular show with a unique artistry and drama that aren’t necessarily what come to mind when you think “circus.”

This year’s aquatic spectacular features aerialists, contortionists, balancing acts and most importantly, 35,000 gallons of water. A cameo at the Burlington County Farm Fair thrilled audiences with dinosaurs, jugglers, lights and more. Death-defying balancing acts, feats of strength and stunning costume and makeup is sure to  dazzle your crew.

For Elizabeth performances, head to 651 Kapkowski Rd. The Rockaway shows are at 301 Mount Hope Ave. Call the ticket office at 941-704-8572 or buy tickets online at cirqueitalia.com. Tickets start at $10 for kids and $25 for adults. The circus recommends getting there 45 minutes to 1 hour before showtime.
