For the past five years, Englewood has shut down East Palisade Avenue for the ultimate summer block party.
This year, New Jersey Family is a proud co-sponsor of the Englewood Night Market on July 16, along with T.H. Experiences (who created the event), Town Motors (home to Porsche Englewood, Subaru of Englewood, and Audi Englewood), ONNJ and the City of Englewood.
Stages will be set up across two city blocks, with a live DJ on each end. The party starts at 5 pm with a performance of part of the Little Mermaid summer show by ENC Fine Arts, plus songs by the kids from School of Rock Cresskill. At 7:30 pm, Soulsa performs Latin-soul music, DJALX and Mexcal’s DJ spin records, and Side Hustle plays rock covers.
Restaurants will be open and you’ll want to check out the menus at Wandering Que, Lulu Mediterranean, Thaiway Thai + Bistro, Hummus Elite, Blue Akai Mexican Japanese Sushi Lounge, CZEN and Taste of Jamaica. There will be food trucks, too, including Cousins Maine Lobster, Angry Archies, 1950 Originals Burgers Dogs & Fries, The Cupcake Carriage, and Clyde’s Homemade Italian Ice & Ice Cream. If you’re bringing your dog, you’ll find treats at Groomington Eats dog food truck.
Grab a mango margarita, sangria, beer or spiked cocktail from MK Valencia Restaurant‘s outdoor bar, which you can take with you as you go.
Entertainment ranges from a 360-degree photo booth to carnival games like Drown the Clown and face painting, and booths set up by local businesses and non-profits.
Englewood Night Market takes place from 5-11 pm on Wednesday, July 16, along East Palisade Avenue in Englewood. The rain date is July 17. There is no admission fee. For the full list of vendors, menus and entertainment, visit EnglewoodNightMarket.com and follow
