Take a Mad Tea Party and add a Christmas lights show and you get LuminoCity’s newest holiday festival, coming to Central Jersey this winter.
LuminoCity Festival’s 2024 Holiday Lights Festival “Wonder Journey” puts an enchanting spin on “Alice in Wonderland,” bringing larger-than-life lights displays, such as the Wonderland Tea Party, the iconic butterfly seat, the life-sized Queen’s Castle and a slide down the Queen of Heart’s tower.
There will also be a gift shop, specialty themed days, food vendors and giveaways.
“Wonder Journey” will run most weekdays from 4:30-9:30 pm and from 4:30-10 pm Fridays to Sundays, from November 15 through January 5, 2025, in the parking lot of the Freehold Raceway Mall, 3710 Rte. 9, Freehold Twp. The opening ceremony takes place at 7 pm November 15. Tickets range from $24 to $32 per person; kids 3 and younger are free. Through October 20, you can get a 15 percent discount using code NJFUN15. Parking is free. LuminoCity is ADA-compliant and stroller-friendly.
