Holland Ridge Farms is known for its incredible display of tulips, along with its uber-popular spring and fall festivals, but now the flower fun is extending into winter with the second annual Tulips: Winter Wonderland.

The walk-through event combines the farm family’s love of tulips and the holidays, offering more than 50,000 illuminated tulips lighting up the flower fields, but there will also be fresh cut tulips and u-plant bulbs.

The illumination is key here, including a light show from the windmill every 30 minutes; illuminated pony rides on the weekends; and interactive LED seesaws, swings, spinners and slides.

Photo ops include pictures with Santa inside his workshop; surprise visits with The Grinch, Olaf, Elsa and Anna as they roam around the farm from 5-7 pm Saturdays and Sundays in December; and magical snow flurry stations by the barns and windmill.

Kids will love the “snowball fights” in a giant igloo snowball pit, which has 75,000+ balls. Or, take them to the petting zoo or for a pony ride.

New this year will be Drone Show Nights, with shows at 6 pm and 8 pm on December 18, 19 and 20. There will be 200 drones synced to music, with festive animations and bright color changes.
Disco Nights are 5:30 to 7:30 pm December 12 and 13, where DJ Joe from 94.5 PST radio will spin festive tunes.

There will be hot chocolate stations across the farm, food trucks and bakery treats; in addition to beer, wine and cocktails themed for the season.

When you need to warm up, visit a cozy heated cabin – where there will be more cookies and hot chocolate – or pop inside the holiday gift shop.

Holland Ridge Farms is located at 108 Rues Rd. in Cream Ridge. The festival takes place from November 21 to January 4, from 5 to 9 pm every night (last entry is at 8 pm). Tickets start at $17 per person age 3 and older.
