If your teen didn’t pass their driving test on the first try, Uber will offer free rides around town until they retake the test.
If your young driver signs up for a new Uber Teen Account, they can get a month of free rides until they’re ready to get behind the wheel (or the desk if it’s the written test) again. The purpose is to take away some of the stress of driving – and to teach them a good life lesson that a few bumps in the road shouldn’t slow them down, according to Uber.
Teens must have an Uber teen account to be eligible the free rides. To take advantage of the promo, parents or teens should download the Uber app or visit uber.com/teenrides where they will be prompted to provide background information, including which portion of the test they failed (written or driving), and the reason.
The maximum number of allotted rides is six, totaling $20 max per ride, through March 31.
