Have a unicorn-obsessed kid? Unicorn World is bringing an experience that includes animatronic unicorns in an enchanted forest to Philadelphia in October.
Unicorns named Aqua, Blaze, Jewel, Lavender and Sprinkles will be hanging out at the Unicorn Stables, where the life-sized animatronic animals will be neighing and smiling for pics with your crew.
The kids can also wander through an enchanted forest, do arts and crafts, listen to storytime, jump in the unicorn bounce houses, play on the rides and get their faces painted. The Glimmering Games area includes more carnival-style games, an indoor playground and a dance party. There are sensory tables, plus a balloon bubble house.
There’s also a spot just for babies and toddlers. And there’s a clever “grazing area” where you can buy snacks.
You can get your photo taken by a pro, too, to confirm these unicorns aren’t just a figment of your imagination! Costumes and props are available if your kids want to be fairies, princes or princesses for the day; extra fees apply.
The exhibit was created by husband and wife Patrick and Lauren Mines, and galloped into New Jersey last summer for its first event in the Northeast. Since its launch in 2022, Unicorn World has welcomed over 200,000 guests across the United States.
Unicorn World will be held October 26 and 27 at The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center and Fairgrounds, 100 Station Ave., Oaks, PA. Tickets start at $29.95 per person and are free for kids under 2. They must be purchased online in advance since no tickets will be sold at the door. You’ll need to choose your time slot when reserving tickets.
