There are so many reasons to love Adventure Aquarium in Camden, from sharks to hippos to penguins. If you have a preschooler at home, now you can love the aquarium for its returning Pre-K Kid’s Adventure Pass. The pass allows kids ages 2-5 to visit as many times as they want for free for a year.
To take advantage of the new program, you’ll need to register your child online in advance for the free pass. Then, you’ll have to activate the pass by visiting the aquarium’s box office by 6:30 pm on October 26. Bring your child’s passport, birth certificate or other form of ID to prove their age. Once activated, your kid can visit for free for 12 months. If you have kids younger than 2, they’ll get in for free, too.
Once you’re inside, check out the touch pools filled with everything from stingrays to sea stars, the Imagination Sand Station, the Penguin Park’s underwater viewing window, the Shark Bridge and Tunnel, the Hippo Haven, and a soft play area.
Don’t miss the brand-new Kaleidoscope Cove, a 2,000-square-foot expansion project that brings hundreds of bioluminescent animals and fish to glowing tanks.
Dates will soon be announced for this fall’s Fintastic Pumpkin Glow, and the holidays’ Christmas Underwater in November and December.
Adventure Aquarium is located at 1 Riverside Dr. in Camden.
