Seasonal train rides aren’t just for Christmas or Halloween! These Easter trains give the kids a fun way to meet the Easter Bunny in person. Most of these trips book fast, and they required advance tickets in order to hop on board a ride.
Whippany Railway’s Easter Bunny Express

The Whippany Railway Museum’s bunny train takes guests on a 45-minute trip along the Whippanong Trail and back (that’s 10 miles!). Your kids will get a chance to meet the Easter Bunny and snap a photo with him before the ride ends.

Take a round-trip train ride from the Flemington station to Ringoes. Once you arrive in Ringoes, you’ll hunt or eggs, hop back on the train and meet Peter Cottontail. You can splurge and rent the Little Red Caboose (holds up to 14 guests) for $349 and have your own private space.
Delaware River Railroad Excursions’ Easter Bunny Train Ride and Egg Hunt

Discover the beauty of the scenic Delaware River with Mr. E. Bunny himself. Make your way along the water to Carpentersville for an egg hunt at the 150-year-old lime kilns, where every kid will score four candy- and toy-filled eggs. Search the glade for Easter goodies, snag a pic with the bunny and take in the talents of a juggler and banjo-playing hobo on the ride.
New Hope & Ivyland Railroad’s Easter Bunny Express

Tickets start at $46.42 for adults, $43.18 for children age 3-11, but they offer first class options and different flex passes for date changes.
This epic train ride is just over the NJ border. Venture through Bucks County on a 45-minute excursion that starts and ends at New Hope Train Station. The Bunny will stop to greet every passenger to take pics and hand out treats like bags of candy, jelly bean-filled easter eggs and seasonal trinkets. You can even purchase photo packages aboard the train.
