Easter is April 20, and we’re counting down to all the train rides, egg hunts and arts & crafts that come with it.

April 17-21

Easter Egg Hunt
Storybook Land, Egg Harbor Twp.
This egg hunt is perfect for your littlest ones. The Easter Bunny will be making the rounds throughout the amusement park. Note: The park is closed on Sunday for Easter.

April 18

Fur Mosa: Breakfast With the Bunny
Doggie Sweets, Pier Village, Long Branch
The tail-wagging Easter breakfast includes mimosas, pictures with DS Bunny, treats for your pup, and discounted meals at Turning Point.

April 18-19

Easter Bunny Express
Black River and Western Railroad, Flemington
Take a round-trip train ride from Flemington to Ringoes and back. Meet Peter Cottontail aboard the train for a brief photo op. There will be an egg hunt when you stop off in Ringoes.

Eggstravaganza
Heaven Hill Farm, Vernon
Visit with Hopper the Bunny, search for Easter eggs during the scavenger hunt, hop on a hayride, visit Hippity Hop Village, see the farm animals, ride on pedal cars and touring cars, play with the giant slingshot, climb on the giant straw pyramid and test your aim at the baseball speed throw. Add on the paintball range, carnival rides, food and Easter flowers.

Easter Bunny Express
New Hope & Ivyland Railroad, New Hope, PA
This epic train ride is just over the NJ border. Venture through Bucks County on a 45-minute excursion that starts and ends at New Hope Train Station. The Bunny will stop to greet every passenger, take pictures, and hand out treats like bags of candy, jelly bean-filled Easter eggs, and seasonal trinkets.

Rolling Railway Easter EGGspress
DiDonato’s Family Fun Center, Hammonton
Hop aboard the train that takes you through the Spring Village. Meet the Easter Bunny, go on an egg hunt, and find your way through the Spring Hedge maze. Kids will get a free snack, plus an Easter prize. There will also be a giant slide and an inflatable 40-foot obstacle course. You can add on a game of bowling or eat at the Alley Bar & Grille or the Pin Deck. Toy Market will be on-site at their pop-up snack and toy cottage.

After brunch in the ballroom of Congress Hall, the Easter Bunny and his sidekick Blue lead festivities including Easter egg hunts, scavenger hunts, train rides and spring break events.

The “wild” Easter celebration features an Easter Bunny I Spy Hunt, Easter Scavenger Hunt, HOPstacle Course and Easter Bunny photo ops (Saturday only).

As you explore the charming boutique shops or enjoy a family lunch, keep an eye out for the Strolling Spring Bunny hopping around from Lindt Chocolate to Thomas Sweet, all the way up to Nassau Street and Palmer Square East.

Easter Eggstravaganza
G&G Stables, Howell
Admission includes an Easter egg hunt, petting zoo, hayride, barrel ride and games. Pony rides, animal feed, face painting and snacks will be available for purchase. Family Bunny Pictures are available on all dates for an additional fee.

Easter Egg Search and Plant-a-Seed
Norz Hill Farm, Hillsborough
The third annual Easter Egg Search includes a hayride and visits with farm animals. You can also learn about planting seeds, and you’ll get to take home your own seedling.

Egg & Veggie Hunt
Coombs Barnyard, Elmer
Come to the barnyard for a hayride, visit with the barnyard animals, the Egg & Veggie Hunt and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Collected eggs will be empty but will be turned into the Easter Bunny for a tasty surprise. Also available will be barrel train rides and egg decorating stations.

Egg-ceptional Easter with Angry Birds

Easter activities include crafts, face painting and balloon animals. Try to get a hole-in-one on the mini golf course, then snap a photo with Red. There’s also an Easter egg hunt with hidden surprises.

Easter Bunny Express
Whippany Railway Museum, Whippany
The Easter Bunny and his helpers will be on board the train, greeting everyone during the 45-minute round-trip ride along the historic Whippanong Trail throughout Morris County. All the kids will get a special gift.

The Great Egg Hunt

Walk along the boardwalk from 6th to 14th streets and stop into participating businesses to collect eggs.

Dress your kids in an Easter bonnet or wacky hat and have them march in the parade along with costumed characters from Nickelodeon Universe and DreamWorks Water Park.

First, the Bunny will drive around each ward of the city aboard a firetruck. When he gets to Cadwalader Park, he’ll join an Easter egg hunt with the kids.

Greater Wildwood Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt

Kids 12 and younger will search for eggs that hide the grand prize: a golden egg! They’ll get to meet the Easter Bunny, too.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Liberty Hall Museum, Union

Children will explore the grounds of Liberty Hall, searching for plastic eggs filled with holiday treats, hidden throughout the landscape. A surprise visit from the Easter Bunny caps off the event.

Breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and juice. The event also includes photos with the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt, face painting and raffles. Proceeds benefit the WOW A Friend Foundation.

Easter Egg Hunt on the Slopes

This one-of-a-kind Easter Egg Hunt takes place on real snow. Leave the kids for a bit in the newly renovated SNOW Play area, then look for surprises hidden in eggs across the indoor ski slope.

There will be hundreds of Skirmish eggs hidden throughout the paintball facility, and players 10 and up can go on a scavenger hunt to find them. The more eggs you find, the more free passes you’ll redeem.

(A Bunny Hop Launch Party on April 5 will be followed by special events hosting pets, welcoming Disney Princesses and an augmented reality Easter Egg Hunt at the prominent Central New Jersey retail center.

Easter Bunny Train Ride & Easter Egg Hunt

The train travels along the scenic Delaware River. When you stop, in front of the 150-year-old lime kilns is a glade filled with Easter eggs. After taking pictures with Mr. Bunny, kids will get their baskets and go find the candy-filled eggs.

Kids will look for giant colorful Easter eggs filled with fun surprises after the church service.

Start your day with a hearty farm-to-table breakfast featuring homemade pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes and coffee, with a special Easter Bunny visit. Or come in the afternoon for brunch, which offers a family-style buffet. You’ll also get access to the Springtime Festival activities, which include a scenic hay wagon ride, the Easter egg hunt, the Bunny Trail Maze, visits with baby farm animals, the evergreen maze, the giant hay pyramid, and access to the farm museum.

Down the Bunny Trail

Whether or not you’re a Girl Scout you can come to this event organized by The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore. Roast PEEPS s’mores, create an egg-cellent craft, enjoy a fun scavenger hunt around Bunny Village, and hop over to the bunny hutch for a family photo with the Bunny herself. A special after-hour egg hunt will be available exclusively for high schoolers.

Easter Celebration at Allaire Village

Visit with live chicks and bunnies, see the talents of a Bubble Magician, decorate bonnets, collect eggs, get a glitter tattoo, make a craft, play egg games on the green, listen to storytime, participate in a village scavenger hunt, watch historical Easter egg dying demos, and catch the Easter Bunny as he roams the village throughout the day. There will be food trucks on site. Bring your own Easter basket to collect eggs at special stops throughout the village. Plus, learn about life in the early 19th-century industrial village through demos such as blacksmithing, woodworking and hearth cooking.

The fun is open to children up to 10 years old, and different age groups will start in different locations. There will also be an accessible/special needs egg hunt at the Adventure Lookout Ropes Course; there is no age limit there.
