4th Annual Kearny Doggie Halloween PAWrade Festival
October 26, Urban Enterprise Zone, Kearny, 11:30 am
On Saturday, bring your costume-clad pooches to this festival (rain or shine), with food, doggie photo booths and doggie massages. Not to mention, there’s prizes to be won.

Strut Your Mutt Halloween Costume Contest
October 26, 1:15 pm
The 2 pm parade will be full of creatively dressed pups. Feel free to come see the spooky canines, even if you don’t have one of your own.

5th Annual Paws in the Park Halloween Dog Park-tacular
October 26, Fort Lee Dog Park, Fort Lee, 11 am-3 pm
Let the dogs out to enjoy a parade, live music, food, local vendors and more. There’ll be a kids’ area equipped with pumpkin painting, face painting and temporary tattoos. All proceeds from this family-friendly event will go to local participating dog shelters.

NJBR at Leonardo State Marina Halloween & Pet Festival
October 26, Leonardo State Marina, Leonardo, 10 am-3 pm
Dress up your kids and pets to join in on this parade. Afterwards there will be pinatas, a pick and paint pumpkin patch, mummy duck races and more.

Strut Your Mutt Halloween Costume Contest
October 26, Montclair, 9:15 am
Show your pooch off at the 10 am parade. Entry is free and prizes are available.

Annual Berners Howl-O-Ween Bash
October 27, Roosevelt Park, Edison, 1-4 pm
This doggy-friendly event features costume contests, giveaways, refreshments and, of course, a lot of berners!

Howl-O-Ween Paw-rade & Pawty
October 27, Like Home Pet Care, Jersey City, 11 am-2 pm
The parade starts at Hound About Town and ends at Like Home Pet Care where the pawty begins! Pets can enjoy running around the yard with new friends. There will be costume contests with various prizes, including a free full grooming S’paw day.

A Christmas Nightmare
November 30, The Shoppes of Lafayette, Lafayette, Noon-4 pm
Halloween doesn’t end in October and it’s never too early to take Christmas pictures. Come on out this Small Business Saturday to support One Step Closer Animal Rescue. Enjoy refreshments, eight unique vendors, giveaways, and antique shopping for the holidays. Bring out your pups and the kids for photos with Santa J. Skell.
