Howl-O-Wine Dog Parade

November 2
Default Event Image

This Halloween, Old York Cellars will turn its vineyard into a spooky celebration of film, wine, and four-legged fun.

The Hallo-Wine Weekend kicks off on Thursday, October 30, with Halloween Trivia Night.

On Friday, October 31, the winery will host free screenings of TERROIR, a darkly funny new short film filmed in New Jersey; accompanied by live music, themed wine cocktails, as well as wine and candy pairings curated by Mr. Pops of Flemington.

Filmed entirely in New Jersey, TERROIR follows a young wine critic, played by Madison Hu, who returns to a vineyard she once reviewed harshly — only to uncover terrifying secrets buried deep in the soil. Because sometimes the real terror is the terroir. TERROIR was written, produced, and directed by Casey Rogerson, a Bucks County native and graduate of The Lawrenceville School in Mercer County. The locally shot short mixes satire and scares, drawing playful parallels between winemaking passion and obsession. Screenings will take place in the winery’s heated vineyard tent at 7 pm and 8 pm, with live music from 6–9 pm.

On Sunday, November 2, Old York Cellars will host its first Howl-O-Wine Dog Costume Parade, a celebration of furry friends and vineyard charm. Guests and their pups are encouraged to come in costume — humans in costume will also receive ½-priced tastings.

Throughout the Hallo-Wine Weekend, guests 21 and over can enjoy ½-priced tastings for anyone in costume, special Halloween cocktails, and wine and candy pairing lights curated by Mr. Pops of Flemington. Chef José’s full Spanish-inspired menu will be available all weekend, featuring the 5-Course Wine Pairing Menu and the 14-Course “Oma Casa” Tapas Pairing (advanced reservation required).
