If you’ve never bundled up the kids for a wintry romp in NYC, now’s the time to do it. The super popular Bumper Cars on Ice will be back at the ice rink at Bryant Park starting January 14.

The kids can spin, slide, bump and drive across the rink in brightly colored tube-like bumper cars. Tickets are booked in one-hour segments and rides last 10 minutes. After your ride, stick around and try the only free ice skating rink in Manhattan. Grab a bite at the pop-up bar and food hall, The Lodge, and explore the rest of the famous Bryant Park Winter Village before heading home.

Cars are operated by two joysticks the kids will have no problem maneuvering. Riders must be at least 7 years old and 42 inches tall. You’ll have to sign a waiver for any kids under 18. Be sure to wear flat, close-toed shoes.

Tickets must be purchased in advance online and are $20 ($25 on weekends and holidays). Some dates are already selling out, especially weekends; so be sure to act fast. Keep an eye on the website for more dates through February 28.
