Recently, Six Flags Great Adventure announced a revamped Boardwalk area for Spring 2026. Then, the company teased a new roller coaster set to debut in 2027. Now, two beloved fall events are set to return: Dead Man’s Party will once again be a part of Fright Fest, and Holiday in the Park will celebrate all things winter.

Dead Man’s Party is a live stage show hosted by Dr. Fright, that debuted in 1999 and was around for 25 years. It felt like a rock concert and Broadway production, with music, choreography and special effects where Dr. Fright and his undead friends “rock the afterlife.”

Holiday in the Park is coming back as well, in a reimagined way meant to bring real-life holiday storybook vibes to the theme park.

There will be themed entertainment, food, lights displays, glowing entranceways and cozy winter villages.

Expect nightly tree lightings, holiday carolers and other live musicians, and seasonal characters.

You’ll be able to take photos with Santa, go through a new family-friendly indoor walk-through attraction, decorate cookies and build gingerbread houses, and try new seasonal menus by the park’s executive chef.

Many thrill rides and kids’ areas will remain open during the fall and winter seasons. More information on Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park will be shared closer to the dates.
