Every kid remembers their first Barbie: the long blonde hair, the cute outfits and if you were lucky, the Dreamhouse with a convertible parked outside the garage. Now you can relive your childhood with the kids at The Malibu Barbie Café in New York.

You’ll come for the amazing backdrops and the menu created by “Master Chef” semi-finalist Becky Brown. It’s an all-day brunch affair, with the Beach Burger, Pacific Paradise Rainbow Pancakes, Golden Coast CALI-flower Bowl, and the West Coast Wave Wedge Salad ready to order.

You’ll be California dreaming when you order desserts like the Anything is Possible Sundae and Make a Difference Macaroon; and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, floats, beer, wine and cocktails with names like Think Pink Margarita and Beach Mojito.

The best part of your experience will be posing with the dreamy Barbie sets. There’s lots of sunny California decor around the cafe, which means plenty of content for your Instagram feed. Our favorite is the lifesized Barbie toy box that you can pose inside. Put your feet in the sand at the beach scene area or head to the second floor where you can step on a surfboard and have a seat on the swing bench.

Check out the Malibu Barbie time capsule for even more nostalgia. Malibu Barbie debuted in 1971, so there are all of the ’70s vibes, too. And don’t leave without scoring some Barbie merch.
