There’s a lot to love about Jersey City: the waterfront overlooking the NYC skyline, the restaurants downtown, the street fairs and farmers markets and so much more.
Next up is the addition of a new lifestyle district called West Side Square (WSS), which will add even more residences, retail and public spaces to town.
The first celebration will be mid-June for the Residences at West Side Square, the first of two residential towers that will add 834 homes to the west side; this building should be done by September 2026. The second tower, The Factory at WSS, should be done by July 2028. Residents will have access to a pool, lounge spaces, a fitness center, a yoga room, a podcast room, a dog run, bike storage, guest suites, refrigerated storage, outdoor screening experiences and 24-hour doorman service.
There will also be an outdoor piazza, 16,000 square feet of retail space, a lobby café, restaurants and public art displays. The piazza will be open to the public, with plans for community events such as open-air markets, art exhibits and small music concerts. It’ll be very pedestrian-friendly along a new cobblestone walkway.
West Side Square is located at 1075 West Side Ave. in Jersey City, close to the PATH station at Journal Square.
