It’s free coffee for teachers, educators and school administrators all during the month of September at Wawa! The retail chain announced the giveaway as part of its “Cheers to the Classrooms” celebration and will include a $25,000 fund and store-to-school visits. The fund is earmarked to help at-risk youths in K-12 who are returning to school and could benefit from additional resources.

“As students and teachers head back to school, Wawa is serving up the month of September to recognize the teachers, educators, administrators, and staff who educate, guide, and inspire children across the regions where we operate,” Wawa said on their website.

Teachers and administrators will be able to select any size coffee for free all day, any day of September in stores and with the return to the classroom right around the corner, we can expect that they will need that extra jolt of caffeine!

All 940+ Wawa stores have each selected a local school to receive two free boxes of coffee, 50 specialty donuts and 50 free Sizzli coupons.

“Wawa is making a special effort to bring cheer to classrooms across our chain with free coffee, financial support and special visits as our small way of expressing gratitude to those championing for our children,” Wawa president and CEO Chris Gheysens said. “It gives us great pride to celebrate our teachers and school administration who represent everyday heroes in our community.”

Currently there are over 260 Wawa locations in the Garden State alone, and more than 840 on the east coast in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Florida and Washington D.C.
