Between the memes, the Kitty Halftime Show and cuddles, how could anyone not love cats? Now you and all the cat people you know can celebrate your feline friends at Convention Hall and Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park on April 13-14 at the 2nd Catsbury Park Cat Convention.
This fest is the biggest of its kind on the east coast, and it’ll be bringing cool cats from all over to the shore for all things cat-related. It’s no surprise that the convention is organized and hosted by Catsbury Park, a non-profit rescue and cafe in downtown Asbury Park.
Your general admission ticket grants you access to the convention, plus activities like presentations, cat trivia, cat yoga, games and more. For additional fees, you can get a pass to meet and greets with famous kitties (that’s right, you have a chance to meet Lil Bub!) and other select presentations, like one by the Kitten Lady, whose famous for fostering orphaned kittens. If you want to learn more about your kitty companion, head to Cat Chat, an ask-the-experts Q&A. And of course, cats and kittens will be up for adoption on site.
Tickets are $15-25 for one-day general admission and $25-45 for the whole weekend. The convention takes place at Convention Hall on the boardwalk and next to the beach, or 1300 Ocean Ave., Asbury Park.
