Big Santa Lighting Event
When: 11/20, 5-7 pm
Where: Westfield Garden State Plaza, 1 Garden State Plaza, Paramus
Why watch a tree lighting when you can see a 50-foot Santa be lit up! This drive-in event will also feature Broadway performances, food trucks and a DJ. Reservations are required.

SATURDAY 11/21

Nature Story Time
When: 11/21, 10-10:30am
Where: Tenafly Nature Center, 313 Hudson Avenue, Tenafly
Families with children ages 3-7 will enjoy a nature-themed story and a visit from one of Tenafly Nature Center’s Animal Ambassadors. The program will be held entirely outdoors.

Our Day of Thanks! A 19th Century Thanksgiving Celebration
When: 11/21, 11am-4pm
Where: The Historical Village at Allaire, 4263 Atlantic Avenue, Wall Township
Celebrate an early 19th Century Thanksgiving with the villagers of James P. Allaire’s Howell Iron Works Company. The historic homes, craft shops and retail buildings will be open to welcome you for a special “Day of Thanks.”

Springfield Avenue Open Air Market
When: 11/21, 10am-2pm
Where: 1866 Springfield Avenue, Maplewood
Visit on select Saturdays through the holidays to shop local makers, artists and stores in an open, socially distant environment. Shop, chalk the walk and listen to live music from local talent. Masks required to enter, limited to 25 customers at one time.

Holiday Open House
When: 11/21, 12-4pm
Where: Fresh & Fancy Farms, 575 River Road, New Milford
Come check out the decorations, fresh wreaths, garlands and more at this beautiful community farm. Hot chocolate and s’mores by the fire will be available.

Logging and Firewood Cutting
When: 11/21, 10am-4pm
Where: Howell Living History Farm, 70 Woodens Lane, Hopewell
Visitors can cut and chop firewood, split locust logs into fence rails and make real barn pegs for use in barn frames around the farm!

Granny’s Attic Craft Show
When: 11/21, 8am-5pm
Where: Bell Works, 101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel
Shop for artwork, accessories, candles, ceramics, children’s items, holiday ornaments and more at the 40th annual Granny’s Attic Craft Show. Food, jewelry, silk, dried flowers and many more unique, handcrafted items available.

MPAC Concert: Tusk
When: 11/21, 6pm & 8:30pm
Where: Mayo Performing Arts Center, 100 South Street, Morristown
This Fleetwood Mac tribute band play note by note renditions of your favorite hits such as “Don’t Stop,” “Go Your Own Way,” “Dreams” and “The Chain.” $39-$59 (Livestream available for $20 for 8:30 pm)

Back to the 90s Skate
When: 11/21, 7:30-10:30pm
Where: South Amboy Arena Roller Magic, 270 N. Stevens Avenue, South Amboy
Lace up your skates (rent or bring your own) and travel back in time as you roll/bounce to the best songs of the ’90s.

SUNDAY 11/22

All About Owls
When: 11/22, 6-7:30pm
Where: Tenafly Nature Center, 313 Hudson Avenue, Tenafly
A staff educator will teach you all about owls’ awesome adaptations and how they survive. Participants inspect feathers, go on a short walk and meet a special friend. The program will be held entirely outdoors and is intended for adults and families with children ages 6 and up.

November Vendor Fair
When: 11/22, 1-4pm
Where: Middletown Sports Complex, 214 Harmony Road, Middletown
This outdoor, dog-friendly event will feature a gift wrapping station, a DJ, family-friendly activities, ornament making and even a hot chocolate bar. Don’t miss your chance to have a safe meet & greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus (dog photos are ok too!).

Discover the art, history and skill behind the iconic puzzle! This show has been on a worldwide tour and now returns home to LSC. Don’t miss it!

Lights. Camera. Santa!

Get your photo with Santa Claus in a safe, socially distanced environment. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Skating on the Square
When: 11/20-2/27
Where: Palmer Square, Hulfish Street, Princeton
Palmer Square’s outdoor, eco-friendly synthetic skating rink is back for another holiday season. Bring your own skates or rent a pair.

Photos with Santa at South Court
When: 11/20-12/25, 11am-7pm, 9am-5pm on 12/24
Where: Paramus Park, 700 Paramus Park, Paramus
Celebrate the season with festive professional photos during a socially distanced visit with Santa Claus.

Visit with Santa at Bridgewater Commons

Where: Bridgewater Commons, 400 Commons Way, Bridgewater
Join the Safe Santa celebration at Bridgewater! Take photos with Santa and enjoy a festive walk-through experience. Reservations required and masks must be worn throughout the entire visit and photo so make sure your mask is festive!

Holiday Market for Kids

Where: Westfield Garden State Plaza, 1 Garden State Plaza, Paramus
Kids can learn how to manage a budget and shop for their family and friends…all on their own!

Holiday in the Park

Where: Six Flags Great Adventure, 1 Six Flags Boulevard, Jackson Township
Visit Jolly Jamboree and Wild Lights National Park, two new holiday-themed areas at Six Flags this holiday season.

Magic of Lights
When: Now – 1/2/21, 5pm – 10pm
Where: PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel
Check out this massive drive-through event at PNC. It’s a holiday light show that’s perfect for families and for social distancing.

Springfield Avenue Open-Air Market

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze

WhereVan Cortlandt Manor, Croton-On-Hudson, NY
See 7,000 pumpkins lit up at night at this annual event. You’ve got a few more weekends to see this display. Advance tickets required.

DiDonato’s Magical Holiday Express
Where: DiDonato Family Fun Center, Hammonton
Ride on a train through the light display and walk through the holiday village. Timed tickets required.

North Pole Express Train
Where: New Hope Railroad, New Hope, PA
Weekends from now until Christmas you can take a ride on the North Pole Express. Starting post-Thanksgiving you’ll be able to ride on Santa’s Steam Train. All require advance tickets.

Virtual Visits with Santa

Paramus Park is ready for you to reserve your time to visit with Santa from the comfort of your home and you can even add on Storytime with the Clauses to your session.

Astro Fest
When: 11/21, 10am-5pm
Newark Museum of Art is hosting a fun-filled event that explores space and astronomy on Zoom and Facebook Live. Enjoy and story and activity about the moon, meet a real astronaut and rock out to the music of the Chromatics.
