Parents are always looking for the most unique and beautiful baby names, and even if you’re done having kids it’s still fun to fantasize about what you’d name more of ’em. These days, food and drink have become a hobby for some and a high art for many others, so it’s not surprising that people would be naming their kids after their favorite dishes, ingredients and even beverages.
According to research, conducted by Exante Diet, which looked at data from the U.S. and the U.K. since the year 2000, Sage was the most popular food-related name for both boys and girls. Other popular food names for girls were Olive and Rosemary, while for boys Kale and Basil came in second and third. Overall, more girls had food or drink related names than boys.
