Meet Scuba Santa at Adventure Aquarium’s Christmas Underwater

These seaworthy exhibits are fun for holiday land- and ocean-lovers.

ADVENTURE AQUARIUM

There are pictures with Santa and then there are selfies with Scuba Santa! At Adventure Aquarium in Camden, St. Nick makes an appearance during Christmas Underwater. You and your crew can take pics with Scuba Santa, who will be diving daily in Ocean Realm among sea turtles, sharks and stingrays.

While you’re there, you’ll get to see the World’s Tallest Underwater Christmas Tree. The 18-foot tree is planted in the tank with sandbar, sand tiger and nurse sharks. New this year, the Christmas Underwater Experience will include larger-than-life photo ops.

The Snowtunda area brings winter inside, as snow-like flurries rain down on you. The annual “Merry Fishmas Boris” puppet show is geared toward younger kids, and everyone can write and send letters to Santa while visiting.

Christmas Underwater is on display from November 23 to December 24. Scuba Santa dives on weekdays from 10:30-11:15 am, 12:30-1:15 pm, and 2:30-3:15 pm; and weekends from 10:30-11:30 am; 12:30-1:30 pm, and 3-4 pm. Meet Santa in his magic workshop on land Fridays to Sundays at select times. Adventure Aquarium is located at 1 Riverside Dr., Camden.
