May the Fourth is coming up and it’s the informal but totally fun day to celebrate all things Star Wars! Also known as Star Wars Day, there are fun events taking place all around New Jersey so you and the kids can channel your inner Jedi.

May the Fourth Be With You
Somerset County Library System, Plainfield Branch
3:30-6 pm
Join for this Star Wars celebration for all ages! Explore a galaxy far, far away in this sci-fi fandom event. Activities include crafts, button making, cosplay, and a screening of the film that started it all: ‘Star Wars: A New Hope.’
Star Wars Day
Adoniram Lodge #80, Lyndhurst
7 – 10 pm
If you’re a fan of the Star Wars movies, the games or literature come join for this fun event. There will be food, beverages, assorted games such as a sabacc tournament, costume contest (Cosplayers welcome!), raffles, trivia and more. This is the event’s second year and it’s going to be bigger and better. Younglings are free and costumes are encouraged.
May the Fourth Star Wars Quizzo
Thirsty Dice, Philadelphia, PA
6:30 pm
In a galaxy not so far away, join for Star Wars Quizzo. Whether you’re a Master of the force or simply a young padawan, come test your knowledge of the Skywalker saga and feast like a Hutt on delicious food and drinks. Solo players welcome or bring your whole squadron! Additional prizes will be awarded for best costumes.
