Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14, and that means dreaming about where and what we’ll be served for brunch. Whether your kids are planning to whip you up breakfast in bed or you’re heading out to a restaurant, remember—this is your day—so indulge in all the mimosas, freshly squeezed OJ and yummy pancakes you want (and make sure anyone but you does the cleanup!).

Here are some of our favorite spots in NJ that are hosting brunch for Mother’s Day. Be sure to make a reservation in advance and celebrate the day—you deserve it, mama!

Aarzu Modern Indian Bistro

This beautiful Indian restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner with specials such as quinoa pani puri, tandoori salmon, avocado mango bhel, beetroot tiki, basil chicken tikka, lamb seekh kebab, channa masala, biryani, rasmalai, orange rind kulfi and chocolate halwa.

The New American-meets-Mediterranean-style restaurant at The MC Hotel promises everything will be housemade, including desserts. If you can’t make it to brunch, this beautiful farm-to-table restaurant will be serving dinner from 4-6 pm. Their family-style dinners focus on the farm’s weekly harvest, featuring farm-raised chicken, heritage pork and organic produce. Dine with friends at one of the long communal farm tables. Dinner is BYOB.

Start with house baked warm cinnamon rolls topped with cream cheese frosting. Move on to salad, lobster bisque or smoked salmon. Some entree courses include steak and eggs, lobster quiche florentine or roasted avocado with jumbo lump crab. Dessert is fresh berries with cookies or bananas foster cake. Kids have their own selections of scrambled eggs, chicken fingers, mac and cheese or grilled chicken breast, starting with fresh fruit and ending with sorbet or ice cream (plus cookies!).

Order off the dinner menu at this famed Brazilian steakhouse all day, or have brunch in the morning. Kids 6 and under eat free, and children 7-12 are half-price. Eggs are the star of the show here: get them with bacon and sausage, scrambled with green asparagus, sauteed with shrimp or made with prosciutto and parmesan cheese.
