Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 9th and that means planning where and what we’ll be served for brunch. Whether your kids are planning to whip you up breakfast in bed or you’re heading out for brunch remember, this is your day so indulge in all the mimosas, freshly squeezed OJ and yummy pancakes you want (and make sure anyone but you does the clean-up!).

Here are some of our favorite spots in NJ that are hosting brunch for Mother’s Day. Be sure to make a reservation in advance and celebrate the day — you deserve it, mama!

Alstede Farms – Chester
Enjoy tractor-drawn wagon rides around the farm while taking in the relaxed farm atmosphere and enjoying a casual family-style meal. Stay and enjoy friendly farm animals, a self-guided museum tour, visit the farm store or enjoy homemade ice cream. Advanced tickets are required and will be sold per time slot. There are three time slots available for both Saturday, May 8th and Sunday, May 9th which are: 10 am, 12 pm, & 2 pm.

Amanda’s – Hoboken
Treat mom to delicious fare like banana pancakes and Eggs Bella Vista with grilled Argentinean sausage. The staff is ready to serve you indoors or outdoors and the new brunch menu features New American cuisine with an Argentine twist. Brunch is Saturday and Sunday, 11 am-3 pm.

Avenue — Long Branch
This restaurant offers beautiful ocean views and a French-influenced menu with brunch served from 9 am-3 pm. Start with hors d’oeuvres then move onto the main course, including turkey club, lemon blueberry pancakes and steak frites. $59 per person, no substitutions.

Battello – Jersey City
Celebrate Mother’s Day by sharing a memorable meal overlooking the Hudson. Whatever your family’s tradition – whether gathering for brunch or getting together for dinner – Battello has it all. Brunch is from 10 am – 2:30 pm with an a la carte menu and live music. Or gather with family for a three-course prix-fixe dinner, with seatings from 5 – 8:30 pm. $75 per adult, $29 per child, children under 3 are free.

Biagio’s — Paramus
Biagio’s is a family-owned and operated restaurant & banquet hall that has been a local favorite offering home-style Italian classics for over 25 years. This year, they have a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet at Terrace with seatings starting at 10 am, a la carte at Biagio’s with seatings starting at 11 am and family meals to go, available for pre-order.

Bibi’z Restaurant and Lounge – Westwood
At Bibi’z, every dish is created using only the freshest, finest ingredients. They use NJ, NY or PA organic farms for produce, poultry and dairy. The Mother’s Day brunch is $50 per adult and comes with a fee mimosa for all moms.

Blend on Main — Manasquan
The a la carte Mother’s Day brunch is served from 10 am-1:30 pm and features favorites such as Croque monsieur, lobster eggs benedict and waffles. For a sweet treat, try their beignets.

Cafe 37 — Ridgewood
Cafe 37 is a modern American cuisine restaurant that features seasonal items and culinary creativity, with a diverse menu of seafood, meats and pasta. They have three seating available indoors or outdoors on Mother’s Day including 1 pm, 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Crystal Springs Resort – Hamburg
Choose from the Resort’s three extraordinary brunches, or a la carte dining at 4-star Restaurant Latour, the popular Crystal Tavern or stylish Kites – An American Grille. Or why not make it a Mother’s Day getaway with an overnight at the luxurious Grand Cascades Lodge or recreation-rich Minerals Hotel. Brunch reservations are required and space is limited.

Elements — Princeton
Local, sustainable ingredients are used to create New American cuisine at this upscale eatery. Celebrate Mother’s Day in style with a special 3-course brunch menu from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm for $79 and a kids menu for $39. A special 5-course tasting menu will be served from 4:30 pm – 7 pm for $125.  Reservations are limited so book today to save your table.

Ivy Inn — Hasbrouck Heights
Opened in the 1870s as a stagecoach inn for horse and carriage travelers, evolving into a popular speakeasy during Prohibition, this historic building is the perfect setting to celebrate mom. Mother’s Day brunch, which is $40 per person  tax, tip and beverages are additional) features favorites such as jumbo shrimp cocktail and crabcake benedict. Or celebrate mom with a special dinner featuring choices such as herb-crusted roast rack of lamb and fresh pappardelle pasta for $65 per person.

Molos Restaurant — Weehawken
This Greek and Mediterranean-inspired seafood restaurant is located on the Hudson River and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the New York City skyline. The Mother’s Day brunch here is 11 am-3 pm and $65 per person. Enjoy favorites including Greek Salad, Shrimp Santorini and Faroe Islands Salmon. There’s a children’s menu for kids 10 and under ($22).

Mulberry House – Westfield
This lovely community restaurant is famous for its Tea Bar that displays its weekly offerings. Enjoy breakfast or “Tea Time with Mom” which includes sandwiches, scones, mini cakes, pastries, tea and more for $50. There’s also “Tea Time with the Family” ($100) or “Tea Time for Kids” ($18.).

McLoone’s Boathouse – West Orange
Located within the South Mountain Recreation Complex, McLoone’s Boathouse sits on the banks of the reservoir, showcasing spectacular views to customers. On Sunday, May 9th from 10 am-3 pm, the Mother’s Day family-style brunch features brunch staples, create your own omelet and a raw bar. $39.95 per person, $17.95 kids ages 3-11.

The Olde Mill Inn & Grain House Restaurant – Basking Ridge
Built in the 18th century, the Grain House Restaurant at the Olde Mill inn is known for its historic charm and classic American fare. Celebrate mom with a prix-fixe menu on Sunday from 11 am-6 pm featuring a canape plate, choice of salad and entree and dessert including a choice of warm cobbler or peach melba with vanilla ice cream. $64 per person, children’s menu $25 is available for kids ages 4-11.

The Shannon Rose — Clifton
This Irish pub is a community favorite. Celebrate mom with an a la carte menu on Sunday from 10 am-noon featuring fun dishes such as the Shannon Rose Frittata and the Hangover Burger. Drinks include the traditional mimosa as well as a “Manmosa” made with Kane Head High IPA.

The Spring Lake Manor — Spring Lake
This grand seaside restaurant/hotel is offering Mother’s Day brunch 11 am-2 pm. Enjoy a breakfast buffet featuring an omelet station and a Viennese dessert table, plus a free mimosa, screwdriver or Bloody Mary.

Summit House — Summit
If you prefer to stay cozy at home, try the Mother’s Day Package, available for pickup on Saturday, May 8th from 3-4 pm. The package serves four and includes breakfast, dinner and a mimosa kit for $225. There are also ready-to-drink cocktails available for purchase.

White Horse Winery — Hammonton
White Horse Winery will be serving up MOM-osas all day Sunday May 9th 12-7pm, plus giving moms a special treat (while supplies last). Live performances and food trucks will round out this fun day.

Willow Creek Winery — Cape May
Celebrate Mother’s Day in the middle of Willow Creek Winery’s green and gorgeous vineyard and treat your family to Chef Brian’s Grand Mother’s Day Brunch. Socially distanced seating is limited and reservations are required. Their full wine & sangria list will be available including our delicious Aloha Dole Whip Floats! Last reservation at 4:30 pm.
