Soccer is about to overtake the region for the next year, and fans in New Jersey and beyond are pumped! The FIFA Club World Cup games and trophy tour kicks off this weekend and there are a series of stops in New Jersey.
Just yesterday, Gov. Phil Murphy and members of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ NYNJ Host Committee named Liberty State Park in Jersey City the official site of the FIFA Fan Festival New York New Jersey next June. That means 39 days of live match broadcasts, concerts, fan activations, food, culture and more coming in 2026.
Right now, you can get your soccer fix during FIFA Club World Cup 2025 games that are taking place in 12 stadiums across 11 cities (including NJ and Philly), from June 14 to July 13. Many of the soccer superstars coming back next year will give you some high-speed kicking action during the upcoming club games.
The 2025 MetLife Stadium schedule is:
June 15 M04: SE Palmeiras vs. FC Porto
June 17: M09: Fluminense FC vs. Borussia Dortmund
June 19: M17: SE Palmeiras vs. Al Ahly FC
June 21: M27: Fluminense FC vs. Ulsan HD
June 23: M36: FC Porto vs. Al Ahly FC
July 5: M60: W55 vs. W56 (Quarter Final)

July 13: M63: W61 vs. W62 (Final)
Chevys Fresh Mex in Clifton and Linden, and Shannon Rose in Clifton and Ramsey, are holding watch parties from June 15 to July 13 so you can catch all the action. They will broadcast every game live, plus offer food and drink specials.
And restaurants and pubs in New Brunswick are holding their own sports parties as well.
And keep your eyes open around town, because the Skyline to Shoreline Road Tour will be bringing a tour bus to pizza shops, boardwalks and cities with soccer-themed fan activations, activities, giveaways and surprises this summer through Labor Day.
FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off June 11, 2026, across 16 host cities in three countries. That means 48 teams will play 104 matches over 39 days. MetLife Stadium will host seven matchups – plus the final on July 19! You can check out a cool countdown clock installed at MetLife – which has been renamed New York New Jersey Stadium for the duration of the soccer season.
The FIFA New York New Jersey Match 2026 Schedule will be:
