As Stranger Things fans in the area count down to the release of the show’s fifth and final season, they can get their Hawkins, Indiana, fix at a pop-up bar inspired by the wildly popular series.
Just in time for Halloween, Milford, Pennsylvania (a town in the Pocono Mountains) will be home to Jive Bar & Lounge, a Stranger Things–inspired bar that will feature themed drinks, bites, and plenty of nostalgic ’80s vibes.

The pop-up will be open through October 31, and you can expect all the (stranger) things, like hanging in Upside Down (literally), listening to Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill (most likely), lots of eerie lighting, and themed cocktails to get hyped for the show’s conclusion. (absolutely). ’80s-inspired costumes are encouraged.

The Stranger Things pop-up menu features fun, themed comfort food like Eleven’s Chicken and Waffles (mini waffle sandwiches topped with maple syrup and powdered sugar, served with fries), Stranger Wings (ten wings in a sweet & spicy sauce, ), and Benny’s Burgers (three sliders topped with American cheese, pickle, and chipotle aioli), along with shareable favorites such as Demogorgon Bites (tempura-battered cauliflower tossed in your choice of sauce), truffle fries, and mozzarella sticks.
Jive Bar & LoungeSip your way through the Upside Down with themed cocktails ($12 each) like Hopper’s Coffee & Contemplation, a mix of bourbon, cold brew, maple syrup, and cream; The Upside Down, blending tequila, blue curaçao, strawberry purée, and soda; Palace Arcade Punch, a tropical combo of rum, triple sec, almond syrup, pineapple, and lime; and Alexie’s Cherry Slurpee, made with vodka, cherry Kool-Aid, lemon, and bitters—plus Mind Flayer Shots, a lineup of colorful jello shots for $5 each.

The multi-part release of season 5 is set for November 26, followed by installments on December 25, and New Year’s Eve.
Jive Bar & Lounge is located at 319 Broad St. in Milford, PA. The pop-up is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 pm to close, through Halloween. More info on A Nightmare on Broad Street Halloween Pop-Up Bar will be released.
Located about 90 minutes from New York City, Milford makes for a great fall overnight. It has a historic downtown, a good mix of restaurants, and waterfalls and hiking trails that are even more popular during fall foliage season. Tom Quick Inn, La Posada, or Hotel Fauchere each offer guided hikes every Saturday in October.
