Does your little one love ice skating? This month you can take advantage of a rare opportunity for kids to learn basic ice hockey skills from legendary NHL players at American Dream. Through its first-ever “Learn to Play” program alumni players from the New Jersey Devils will teach boys and girls ages five to nine the skills they need to succeed on and off the ice.
Learn to Play’s goal is to inspire more kids to join the hockey community. In a joint partnership between the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL) kids will have the chance to have fun while learning from the pros. Whether you’re watching it or playing it hockey definitely cultivates community, which is something we need now more than ever. This unique program will foster a sense of community and provide unique experiences to kids and their families plus exclusive access to NHL clubs and alumni.
If you and your kid are ready to take the next step in your hockey journey, there’s no better way than by connecting with hockey legends to learn from the best!
The program kicks of March 22 and will run Monday evenings (all girls) and Tuesday evenings (co-ed) from 7:30-8:30pm. The cost of the six-week program is $230 and includes a full set of head-to-toe hockey equipment.
