These are the large NJ towns with a population greater than 35,000 that ranked high on our overall list. The top spot was taken by Hillsborough in Somerset County. Duke Farms, an estate packed with gardens, sculptures and fountains, is a town highlight. Bridgewater, another Somerset town, also came in towards the top. That town’s home to a new Trader Joe’s (read about it here) and Sticky’s Finger Joint, an over-the-top chicken finger eatery (find out what’s on the menu). The most populated town on the list? Edison. This Middlesex County hub has north of 100,000 people living there.
