Even though Valentine’s Day has passed, we could all use a romantic getaway. The good news is that you don’t need to travel to Europe or a Caribbean island to have a luxurious vacation for two (though that certainly does sound good!). Reader’s Digest recently came out with 50 Most Romantic Hotels in Every State and there are so many great options across the US.

Whether you and your partner like upscale hotels or quaint inns this list has something for everyone. From places with amazing spas to spots with unbelievable scenery, our country has so many gorgeous and secluded places that make great getaways.

So which hotel did they single out for New Jersey? If you want a romantic vibe,  Atlantic City is the place to be! Reader’s Digest named Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa as their top pick in the Garden State.

“If you don’t think of romance when you think of casinos, you probably haven’t been to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City,” says Reader’s Digest. “Romantic room packages help couples enjoy the fun things in life at the beautiful hotel, including a luxurious spa evening. They can then try their luck at the casino, playing poker or hitting one of the many slot machines.”

We already know that AC is a great destination for both couples and families, and now we have even more reason to book a room at Borgata the next time someone volunteers to watch the kids! With Spa Toccare, B-Prime Steakhouse and the romantic B Bar, there are so many reasons to take a stay-in-NJ-cation with your other half.

Other fun picks on the list included The Pearl Hotel in Florida, Aliz Hotel in New York and The Painted Sky Inn in Texas. Click here to see all the hottest spots and start planning your next getaway.
