Adventure Aquarium is always a treat to visit, with thousands of aquatic animals to marvel at year-round. But this fall, there’s an extra splash of magic: glowing pumpkins are making their return—both on dry land and beneath the waves.
Fintastic Pumpkin Glow is a fall festival that offers glowing gourds in every shape, size and species located throughout the aquarium, both above the surface and deep below the sharks and stingrays.
As part of the themed activities, you can paint and take home your own personalized pumpkin masterpiece. Or, stop by the gift shop on your way out if you’re looking for pumpkin-themed souvenirs.
If you want to keep the fun going once you leave, tune in to the “What Goes Bump in the Midnight Zone” show, which talks about the creatures that live deep down in what’s called the ocean’s Midnight Zone.
Fintastic Pumpkin Glow takes place from September 25 to November 2 at Adventure Aquarium, 1 Riverside Dr., Camden. Tickets are available online, but through October 26 you can sign up for a free annual pre-K membership for kids ages 2-5.
