A visit to the Christmas tree along with ice skating at Rockefeller Plaza in NYC is one of our favorite holiday traditions. But did you know there’s a cottage filled with candy hidden within the grounds of Rockefeller Center during the holiday season?
The Candy Cottage of Christmas Magic is an immersive experience. The scene takes place inside the trunk of a Christmas tree, where you have to help save the tree from decay. The cottage workers take the sugar and magically turn it into edible candy, which you can pluck from the walls.
Then, you’ll be given a map to find the ingredients for Christmas magic on the Rockefeller Center campus. Once you complete your journey, you’ll head back to The Cottage for some sugary treats that will include a personalized message.
The Candy Cottage of Christmas Magic is located at 610 5th Avenue in the Channel Gardens of Rockefeller Plaza. The experience is open now through January 2, 2024, from 10 am to 8 pm. The experience takes about 45 to 60 minutes to complete and is open to all ages. Tickets start at $25.
