Calandra’s – Fairfield
Gather ’round this Thanksgiving Day with your loved ones at Cucina Calandra for a savory lunch or dinner prepared by Chef Costantino. You can make a reservation by calling 973-575-7720. There are also private rooms for larger parties, so don’t skimp on the
invites. There are plenty of delicious Italian dishes on the menu – including a roasted turkey breast.
The Capital Grille – Cherry Hill and Paramus
Though reservations are available for Thanksgiving Day, you can instead choose to order sides for home, including brioche stuffing, mashed or sweet potatoes, French green beans, cranberry-pear chutney or seeded rolls.
DRIFTHOUSE by David Burke – Sea Bright
If you choose the Grab n Gobble To-Go traditional Thanksgiving dinner for pickup on Thanksgiving Day, you’ll start with a whole roast turkey and then add stuffing, green beans, sweet potato puree, cranberry orange compote and giblet gravy on the side.
The Fox & Falcon – South Orange
Chef Kris Welz and his team have stressed home cooks covered! Just make the turkey and leave the rest to them. The package includes whipped red potatoes with cream and butter; sweet Southern-style corn pudding; garlic & sage brioche stuffing; and sautéed green beans, thyme brown butter, fried shallots. Every order of sides comes with rosemary and sage turkey gravy and cranberry orange chutney. Pastry Chef Mikey Ascencio will make housemade apple and pumpkin pies. Orders should be placed by 2 pm Nov. 20 for pickup from 11 am – 3 pm Nov. 23.
Jester’s & The Surfing Pig – North Wildwood
The Smoked Turkey Meal will feed a family of 6-8 with its 16-20 lb. turkey (wow!), cornbread sausage stuffing, choice of potatoes, smoked turkey gravy, homemade cranberry sauce, green bean casserole and full apple AND pumpkin pies! Order by Nov. 16 for pickup on Nov. 23. The food will be cold so you’ll have to heat it on Thanksgiving.
Kona Grill – Iselin
If you want a typical Thanksgiving dinner, Kona’s Traditional Roasted Turkey is paired with sauteed green beans, miso mashed potatoes, shoyu cream sauce, brioche stuffing and ginger-yuzu infused cranberry sauce. For something a little different, go for the Macadamia Nut Turkey, with macadamia-nut crusted turkey breast also served alongside Kona’s take on the traditional trimmings. Pre-order is available for takeout or delivery online.
Kristine’s – Princeton
While the restaurant will be closed for normal service on Thanksgiving Day, you can order a beautifully crafted menu from their chefs that you can order for pickup on Thanksgiving morning. Delicacies include steak, coq au vin, duck leg confit, salmon tartare, steak tartare, rainbow trout meuniere, ratatouille omelet and a vegetarian entrée. You can order hors d’oeuvres, salads and sandwiches. Kids have their own special menu with options such as tenderloin tips, moules frites (mussels), pasta and butter, or scrambled eggs and cheese. You can also choose family meals that are larger in quantity.
La Rosa Chicken – Manalapan
Reheating instructions will be provided since La Rosa is closed on Thanksgiving, but you can place an order in advance of turkey breast with side dishes, corn muffins and turkey gravy. Place your order by Nov. 20.
Panini Grill – Freehold
How great does a free bottle of wine sound with a Thanksgiving catering order? Package 1 feeds 10-12 people and includes turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffed mushrooms, sweet potatoes, stuffing, penne vodka and a house salad. Package 2 feeds 15-20 people and adds mixed veggies and a Tuscany salad (plus parts of Package 1 in larger portions). All orders come with dinner rolls and turkey gravy. Orders must be in by Nov. 20 and picked up by 2 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
Prospector’s Steakhouse & Saloon – Mount Laurel
What could possibly be better than a Thanksgiving buffet? Put on your Thanksgiving Day pants and choose from brisket, turkey, Hawaiian ham, lots of sides, fresh bread and desserts. It’s all you can eat, so make sure you come hungry!
The Shannon Rose – Clifton and Ramsey
Though the responsibility of the turkey is on you, you can order lots of yummy sides like mashed potatoes, green beans, roasted red bliss potatoes, roasted carrots, potato leek soup, spiced pumpkin soup and homemade cranberry sauce. Add an Irish twist by getting some traditional soda bread. Order and pickup by Nov. 23.
The Skillet – Freehold Twp.
Order your Thanksgiving dinners and pies to go; pick them up cold on Wednesday and have them ready to reheat on Thursday. Choices include a Thanksgiving Platter of sweet potatoes, sausage stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, carved turkey breast, cranberry sauce and gravy; or a Thanksgiving Sandwich made with sweet potatoes, sausage stuffing, cranberry sauce, carved turkey breast and garlic aioli on toasted artisan bread. Order an apple, coconut custard, pumpkin or forest berry (cherry, blackberry, strawberry and blueberry) pie.
Stage House Tavern – Mountainside
Stage House Tavern also provides a buffet, or you can take your meal to go. There will be a carving station with fresh cut meats, an additional dozen entrees, a pasta station, soups, cold appetizers – even a taco bar! Don’t forget about the desserts, too. If you prefer to indulge at home, packages can serve anywhere from 4 to 16 people, with lots of additional sides to choose from.
STAX – Marlboro
Though this is a popular brunch spot, this year STAX will offer a Thanksgiving menu including a whole roasted turkey, mashed sweet potatoes, classic stuffing, fresh cranberry sauce and roasted garlic mixed vegetables. You can add on a full tray of penne vodka, a leg of pernil or glazed smoked ham. Orders must be in by November 21. B&M Market – Park Ridge
Gobble up these specials for some fine dining at home. If shrimp dumplings, cauliflower pizza, pumpkin ravioli, or cheesy baked asparagus sound appetizing, add them to different types of turkey and other meats you can try. If you spend more than $500 the food will be delivered for free on Nov. 23.
Bella Italia – Jackson
For the main course, choose from sliced turkey or a whole bird. Then, choose from stuffed shells or manicotti, sauteed string beans or sauteed broccoli, plain or sausage stuffing. Add mashed or sweet potatoes, salad, gravy, cranberry sauce and apple pie.
Buddy’s Marketplace – Manalapan
In addition to a 16-18 lb. turkey you can select a full tray of pasta, a half tray of stuffing, salad, dinner rolls, gravy and pumpkin pie. There’s a Small Gathering package for 8-10 people. You can also order extra food from the butcher shop. Orders are due by Nov. 18.
The Cambridge Club – Aberdeen
Although the club is open to members only, anyone in the community can order a Thanksgiving feast. The prepared dinner package includes a fresh, free range turkey, mixed green salad, cranberry sauce and gravy. Choose one soup and two sides, then pick one dessert from pumpkin pie or apple pie. If that’s not enough, you can add on a 4 lb. turkey breast or ham, half tray of a side or vegetable, or even a half tray of sausage stuffing, all for an additional cost. D’Angelo’s Italian Market / Tuscany Italian Market – locations in Freehold, Jackson and Princeton
Choose from prime cuts of gourmet meat, turkey, ham, pasta and vegetable, plus a variety of stuffed breads, gourmet prepared food and lots of appetizers. The deadline to place an order is Nov. 20, while inventory and supplies last.
Dolce & Clemente’s – Robbinsville
This Italian market has been featured on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on Food Network for good reason: they recently imported a 600-pound provolone log from Italy and are currently making their own torrone. For Thanksgiving, choose from four different packages, including a new gluten-free dinner menu! All packages are available to serve two or more people and come with turkey and different sides. Or, if you want a truly personalized dining experience, choose your own appetizers, housemade specialties, and a la carte cooked (Bell & Evans organic) turkey. You can add a boneless sliced turkey breast, stuffed roast pork or holiday glazed sliced boneless ham. Order by Nov. 21.
