These Bands Will Perform At Outdoor Pro Hockey Games at Met Life Stadium

Before the Devils and Rangers play on two separate nights, fans will be treated to A-list concerts

NEW JERSEY DEVILS / Kevin Jonas had a date night with his daughters at a recent Devils game.

Families who love hockey will soon have a chance to experience a pro game in a whole new way. The National Hockey League (NHL) will hold the 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Seriesâ„¢ next month as part of the regular hockey season. The outdoor games at MetLife Stadium will feature division rivals New Jersey Devils vs. Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, February 17; and division rivals New York Rangers vs. New York Islanders on Sunday, February 18.

A major draw will be a concert by NJ’s own Jonas Brothers, who are huge fans of the Devils, before the game on Saturday. They’ll play a full set of their greatest hits, including songs from their newest release, The Album. They will return to the stage for another performance during the second intermission.

The Flyers-Devils game will be broadcast live at 8 pm on February 17 on ABC and ESPN+. Tickets to the event include admission to both the 6:30 pm pregame concert in the stadium and the 8 pm outdoor game. If you can’t score tickets to the game/show, you can catch the concert during the broadcast.

Another set of brothers, award-winning indie pop band AJR, will perform an intermission performance during the first and second periods of the February 18 game. The born-and-raised New Yorkers recently released their fifth studio album The Maybe Man and are set to headline Madison Square Garden on tour this summer.

Sunday’s Rangers-Islanders game will be broadcast live at 3 pm on ABC and ESPN+. AJR’s performance will be featured in the broadcast.

Tickets to both games are available at Ticketmaster. Additional dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

In advance of the NHL Stadium Series, hockey fans can come to American Dream in East Rutherford to see 19 of the NHL’s trophies (all but the Stanley Cup) on display in the entertainment/retail center’s Garden (Court B, Level 1). Trophies such as the Presidents Trophy, Hart Memorial Trophy, Calder Memorial Trophy, Vezina Memorial Trophy and Conn Smythe Trophy will be on display from 3-8 pm February 9 and from 11 am to 3 pm February 10.
