I scream, you scream, we all scream for Joe, Nick and Kevin Ice Cream Sundaes at Friendly’s!
Friendly’s has a new collab with New Jersey’s favorite boy band. The ice cream sundaes named after each of the brothers is promoting “The Tour,” which is stopping at the Prudential Center in Newark on Dec. 6 and 7.
Older brother Kevin’s sundae is based on his love for chocolate. It has scoops of chocolate, Butter Crunch and Forbidden Chocolate ice cream topped with caramel, hot fudge and whipped cream. His secret is to add a layer of crushed sugar cone and a cherry on top.
The Joe Sundae looks like the traditional Monster Mash Sundae but on steroids. It starts with one scoop each of Friendly’s mint chocolate chip, chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate ice cream topped with variations of hot fudge, crushed Oreos, M&Ms, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, whipped cream and cherries. They look like three cute little monsters.
Youngest Jo Bro Nick has a sundae made with fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt, topped with Reese’s pieces, bananas and a drizzle of Friendly’s peanut butter sauce and whipped cream.
“We’ve been hooked on Friendly’s since we were little,” says Kevin. “Friendly’s has always been a favorite stop of ours … a memorable place where we bonded as brothers over ice cream and delicious food. Fun fact: We decided on the band’s name at our local Friendly’s back in 2005, while chowing down on Monster Mash sundaes. So, we’re beyond excited to have this opportunity to relive our childhoods and create our own signature Friendly’s creations!”
The Jonas Brothers sundaes will be on the Friendly’s menu through December 9.
And if you haven’t scored your concert tickets yet, you can join the Friendly’s Fan Club to get exclusive news about The Tour concert sweepstakes, where one lucky fan will have a chance to win two tickets to the final tour stop in Brooklyn, New York, including airfare and hotel for the winner and a plus one. Select attendees of The Tour, at two unannounced stops, will also receive a coupon booklet good for a free Friendly’s Fribble a week for a year.
