If your kids love monster trucks and motocross sports, they’ll love Monster Jam Arena Championship Series East, which rolls into Newark to kick off the new year.

Get ready for an action-packed experience Jan. 26 – 28 at the Prudential Center. You’ll see drivers compete against each other at fast speeds, showing off their skills. During the battle for the Event Championship, you’ll watch the drivers in Freestyle, Skills, Donuts and Racing competitions.

So far, eight athletes are scheduled to fight for the championship. Weston Anderson, who drives Grave Digger, is the back-to-back series champion and 2023 Arena Freestyle of the Year winner. 2022 Arena Freestyle of the Year winner Elvis Lainez is behind the wheel of El Toro Loco.  Linsey Read, the 2019 Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle champion, drives Scooby-Dooä. Jamie Sullivan, driving Monster Mutt Dalmatian, is hoping to score her first series championship.

You’ll get to see the massive trucks up close, have the opportunity to meet the drivers and crews and you may even get a picture or an autograph to take home. It’s an insider’s look into the 12,000-pound machines that are raced up to 70 mph.

Monster Jam shows are at 7 pm Jan. 26; 1 pm and 7 pm Jan. 27, with the Pit Party from 10:30 am – 12 pm; and 1 pm Jan. 28, with the Pit Party from 10:30 am – 12 pm. The Prudential Center is located at 25 Lafayette St. in Newark. Tickets are on sale now.
