With all your little witches and wizards staying home due to the COVID-19 quarantine, they’re likely dreaming of a magic spell to make this end. While that can’t happen anytime soon, Harry Potter fans have something new to smile about: The WizardingWorld.com and J.K. Rowling have partnered to launch Harry Potter at Home.
For all you Muggles out there, the Wizarding World is already a hub for Potterheads, but this new site features lots of new goodies like quizzes and crafts to keep them occupied during these tough times. There’s also a weekly newsletter that’s packed with new ideas on Friday.
Audible Stories has added Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (or Sorcerer’s Stone for us Americans). This adds to the library of titles for kids that allow them to access audiobooks for free.
If you need more of a Potter fix, or are bummed about missing your Universal Studios trip for spring break, you can virtually take a ride through the castle. Undercover Tourist has a virtual POV tour of the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride, which will make you feel like you’re part of this 4D experience.
And in case you missed it, there’s also a virtual Harry Potter escape room that a clever librarian made for all of us stuck at home.
