Helping Kids Develop Lifelong Healthy Habits
The founder of Edgewater Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Rose and her team strive to change the way that children feel about dental visits and procedures. The practice’s mission is to ensure that each child and family is treated with respect and support while receiving the highest quality dental care in a safe, nurturing environment. The team teaches children how to properly care for their teeth so that kids develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.
“We always take the time to answer questions and educate our patients and parents,” says Dr. Nguyen, a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and mother of three boys.
A Variety of Treatment Modalities
Dr. Rose uses up-to-date techniques in her modern, all digital practice. Patients are often referred to the practice due to its array of treatment modalities, making it an ideal place for children to receive dental treatment in the way that best meets their needs. Dr. Rose has specialized training with nitrous oxide, in-office oral and IV sedation and general anesthesia.
“I build trust with my patients by explaining what I’m doing every step of the way,” she says.
Dr. Rose received her dental degree from UMDNJ and completed her general practice residency at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. She completed her pediatric residency at St. Barnabas Hospital and received extensive training caring for patients with physical and developmental disabilities at the Rose F. Kennedy Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is on staff at Hackensack University Medical Center.

“Dr. Rose treats my daughter with such respect. She tells her exactly what she’s doing and what she’ll do. She’s kind, patient and tells jokes. I don’t know how she knows so many princess names to name each tooth as she examines them, but my daughter totally gets a kick out of it. She’s truly the best and hires the best staff to support her, as well.” – Marisa, Livingston
