There are so many ways to increase our dopamine levels: exercise, meditation, spending time in nature, and hanging out with friends among the big ones.
A new immersive experience in New Jersey is adding another way to make us feel good: Dopamine Land – known as “a world of happiness” – is opening at Westfield Garden State Plaza next month.
Dopamine Land is a multisensory experience of interactive landscapes, imaginary worlds, optical illusions, soundscapes and art setups.
Explore areas called Scribblescape, Cushion Clash, Balloon Parade, Sunset Lagoon, Lucid Dreams, Step & Sound, Cosmic Oasis, Euphoria Grove and O2 Lounge.
The idea is to tap into your inner child and fuel creativity and curiosity. It’ll take you about 45 minutes to see everything, but you can stay as long as you need that dopamine hit.
Dopamine Land, presented by Fever, has made stops in London, Madrid, Brisbane, and Washington, D.C., before coming to New Jersey.
The experience will open on March 15 at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus. Hours are 10 pm to 9 am Monday through Thursday, and 10 am to 9:30 pm Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $17 for children and $22 for adults and will be available on Fever’s marketplace.
