Less than a year after opening, Disney is cutting prices on its highly anticipated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser voyage. The 2-night immersive experience of staying in the Star Wars-themed hotel is certainly very pricey at $5,000 per couple and $6,000 per family. But since it opened on March 1, 2022, Disney has struggled to fully occupy all 100 rooms.
Guests aboard the Galactic Starcruiser are sent on a mission and get to interact with costumed actors as part of the experience. But some guests thought that the accommodations were not worth the hefty price tag. For one, the spacious cabins are small and windowless. And the experience lacks high-end amenities such as a swimming pool or a fitness center.
Discounts of up to 30 percent off were previously made available to Disney Vacation Club members. This month, steep discounts of up to $700 off (when you book a stay at another Disney hotel before or after your experience) were made available to the general public. Even bigger discounts are available when you package the Galactic Starcruiser with Beach Club, Grand Floridian or Yacht Club resorts.
So how much would you shell out for the ultimate Star Wars experience?
