Dinosaurs Will Roam Through Tulip Fields at This Central Jersey Farm

The Dinosaur and Tulip Festival takes place daily from April 5 to 27.

ARROWHEAD FARMSTEAD

Last summer, a popular farm in Central Jersey was overtaken by dinosaurs. This year they will be free to roam again, with the addition of something spectacular: fields of tulips!

The Dinosaur and Tulip Festival will be a scenic trip back in time at Arrowhead Farmstead. More than 30 giant animatronic dinos will move and roar amongst the flowers, offering lots of gorgeous photo ops. You can “meet” some of the dinos when their handlers bring them to the stage. You can also take a scenic tractor around the farm to see all its beauty.

As you walk around, ask any of the members of World Crafters, the company putting on the festival, all about dinos. The kids will love learning that each dino has its own name.

Teachers can book a farm school trip, where students will be treated to fun and educational experiences. Email arrowheadfarmsteadnj@gmail.com for more information.

Arrowhead Farmstead is located at 135 Iron Ore Rd. in Manalapan. The Dinosaur and Tulip Festival takes place daily from April 5 to 27. Tickets are $27.50 per person. The fields are closed entirely on April 20 (Easter). On April 7, 8 and 22 the dinosaur exhibits will be closed, and only tulips will be available; admission on tulip-only days is $21.50 per person. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm every day, but the last farm entrance is at 4 pm. Tickets will be sold online only beginning on March 18.
