WalletHub placed New Jersey at No. 14, based on things like affordability, health, crime rates, education and recreational activities. New Jersey had a total score of 57.44, compared to No. 1 Massachusetts with 67.60 points.

When it comes to quality of life with kids, New Jersey is home to lots of fun attractions, events, and festivals – and many are free. We love our downtowns, beachfronts, museums and lighthouses.
There is rich history in the Garden State. Especially with the upcoming celebration of America’s semiquincentennial, events and programs are planned to mark New Jersey’s role in our founding fathers’ search for freedom. We also have beautiful historic venues to introduce the kids to live theater. And the FIFA World Cup is on its way this June.
