American Dream is turning into a major World Cup hub this summer with Dream Fan Fest, a 39-day celebration timed to the FIFA World Cup matches at MetLife Stadium.
Running throughout the World Cup, the East Rutherford mega shopping and entertainment complex next to MetLife Stadium, where eight matches will be played, will host daily watch parties, live performances, celebrity appearances, giveaways, concerts, brand activations and special events.
Even if you don’t have tickets to a match, you can still be part of the World Cup excitement at an event. Events will be held at The Rink, Dream Live Performing Arts Center, Expo Center and DreamWorks Water Park.
American Dream says its retailers, restaurants and attractions will also join in, with special menus and fan-focused programming. In the lead-up to the tournament, the complex will also host special promotions and the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola on June 3 and 4 at The Rink.
American Dream is also home to The Soccer Factory, a museum honoring Diego Maradona, and Adidas has opened a soccer-focused flagship store there. The Messi Experience is also expected to open soon.
As the World Cup gets closer, five New Jersey locations will host Goya Presents Flag Cities 2026 pop-up fan fests, with live music, international food, soccer activities, artisan vendors and giant screens showing the games.
The current schedule includes:
June 12: Jersey City
June 14: Overpeck Park
June 21: Secaucus
June 24: Newark
June 26: East Rutherford and Rutherford
Each fan fest will be themed around the teams and cultures connected to the nearby MetLife matches. MetLife Stadium will host eight World Cup matches, including the final on July 19.
