Amazon Prime Day is Coming – Here are The Best Deals for Parents

Find the best sales on stuff for kids and you, too!

Amazon Prime Day is almost here! This year, the two-day event, taking place from October 13-14, will feature some great deals for parents, whether you’re shopping for the kids or yourself! To shop all the great deals, make sure you have an Amazon Prime account (which costs a little over $100 per year). Not a Prime member yet? No worries. Just sign up for a 30-day free trial to take advantage of the great promotions.

“With Amazon Prime Day kicking of the holiday shopping season this year, it is a great opportunity for parents to get deals on holiday gifts,” says Sara Skirboll, shopping and trends expert at RetailMeNot. “Many consumers have experienced fulfillment and shipping related issues since the beginning of the pandemic, so it’s important to buy your gifts early to ensure they arrive in time and you’re able to purchase the gift you want.”

“Amazon Prime Day is also a great time to make practical purchases for kids who are currently in school remotely,” says Skirboll. “Whether your kid needs some new school supplies, a new desk or noise-canceling headphones, Amazon will be offering up to 20 percent off school supplies during Amazon Prime Day.”

There are already great days to shop in advance of the big event. Whether you’re buying holiday gifts or items for your own home, now is definitely the time to stock up.

“Amazon is offering a great deal on Amazon Kids+ for Amazon Prime Day,” says Skirboll. “You can get 3 months for $0.99 which includes kids videos, books, movies and more.”
